Grandparents Day

Grandparents Day

Celebrating the love for each other โค๏ธ, of being together ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ, and of our differences ๐Ÿฅฐ. We had grandparents from all over the world together on a Zoom call for Grandparents Day. ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ป

We are all here for a reason. Our job is to instill a lasting foundation for children of what it means to be equitable, and to embrace and honor diversity.
There is no need to use big words with children to explain anti-bias and โ€œismsโ€ (racism, sexism, classism). Children understand most through doing. Do it, Be accepting, Show the love to your neighbor, show the love to whoever is different than you – and they will learn from your actions.
When grandparents from all over the world: Africa, Peru, France, Netherlands, Israel, Canada, Dominican Republic, Argentina, California, Michigan, and more, gathered together and showed their love for each other, for the children and for the school that embraces diversity – they walk the walk.

We are proud of our Grandparents, our Parents and our Staff for their show of love for each other.

Help us keep on going through these hard times.
